My sister's friend once leaned over to honk at a friend she saw in another car. My sister got pulled over and ticketed. The ticket was taken to court and overturned because honking is not a crime.

"Hey person behind me on the highway: You don't need to ride my ass in the slow lane when I'm doing 10 over the speed limit. And those flashing lights on the top of your car look ridiculous."

I slammed my brakes on because a cop was tailgating me and turns out that was not illegal.
completely their fault, i ended up with a new rear end on my car, which is a good thing because it had dents.
