Hasbro wants to please the fans so they turned MLP into one of the most fan changed show there is while still keeping it on the main course of Love and Tolerance, they allowed us to name the characters and influence the background character's personalities, some character names have changed altogether, like Time turner, he became Doctor Whooves and this has been hinted at if you watch him in the background, Ditsy Doo became Derpy those are the only ones I can think of but you get the point.
