any car can be a power monster if you have the cash. Those things didnt come fast from the factory. And their drivetrains can't handle the power if you want an 800HP dynoqueen, so you have to upgrade that too. It all costs money.


Actually the quickest way to go fast with a built car would be with a foxbody mustang 5.0.

I like the R34 a lot, but mainly the looks, not really the power/following.

I like the GT-R because it's absolutely batshit insane, it's a fantastically engineered modern marvel, and it's affordable for what you get (compared to other supercars).


If I had the money, I'd build up a Lexus IS300/GS300 to ~600HP. They have pratically the same engine (2jz master race), and if I were able to find a GETRAG tranny, get wider tires, and upgrade forged connecting rods, this thing truly would be a 4-door Supra. Ive seen that's how people 'market' IS300s on Craigslist

FWD doesn't bother me, but going fast isn't my first priority when choosing a car so that might be why. My GTI is FWD and it's fast enough for me, and I don't like spinning out which i've had numerous bad experiences with in my buddies Cobra.

Mk3 Supra....I wouldnt go for it. Think of how old they are. Also, theyre NOTHING like the Mk4s. Theyre good cars, but they dont do anything particularly well. It's kinda like "meh". What's your budget?

I live in Thousand Oaks, CA and im looking at buying this s13. It's pretty decent, and it's definetly the most I can afford. My budget is $3000 if that. My GTI is a piece of shit so 3k is most likely the most I can get out of it when I sell it.

Oh god dude I'm not going to rice it I promise. What I'll do is Kouki tail-lights (a little overused but I still love them) a new paint job (white), and some Work Meisters painted Teal. That's my plan as of now. I'll definetly keep it clean though, nothing too flashy or any of that.

But you know what? Go ahead. It's your car, and it's out of the ordinary. I'd love to do something like that. If I had another set of wheels, I'd paint them this color. Or just alittle darker green, more neon less mint.

I don't want to slam my car, although I do plan on lowering it a tad. And I've always loved white and Teal. I really hate black wheels now, although I do love white. Maybe I'll do white instead of teal, I guess it depends on what my style is when I get the Meisters.

i think you should plastidip them first. idk if they have teal, but they do have some pretty awesome colors. If you havent heard of it, it's sort of like spray paint, except it dries sort of like a plastic 'sheet', forming a layer over whatever it is you sprayed. It's very durable and looks good. 4 cans will last 4 rims; thats just 20 bucks. The best part is, it's completely removable, so if you dont like a color, you can just peel it off like a sticker and everything under is good as new. I actually did this to my wheels, sort of 'test drove' the white color before I had them painted white

Yeah I actually was thinking about plasti dipping them when I got them already lol. My friends all plastidipped their rims because they can't afford to paint them at the moment.

aright cool. I actually, not more than half an hour ago, finished wiring foglights into my car. They were there, but the previous owner nig-rigged them and they were terribly done and not connected; my neighbor (who owns a 1949 chevy pickup-up and knows a lot about cars) helped me sort it all out (or rather, he did most of the work; I just stood there and watched).

My only objection would be the teal rims. I do like the S15 front though, taillights arent a bad idea. Neither is the paint. But the wheels....
That's like the first step in ricing. Step 2 is slamming it. How old are you? Wheels of those types of colors usually give off the impression that the owner is 18.
If I were you, I'd powdercoat them black, or white. White wheels look really nice, I have them on my Altima.
