There are different levels of color blindness, and I don't think any of them are in black and white.

The most common is green blindness, where you cannot see the green colors of the spectrum at all. I have a friend with this, it results in him seeing all greens as orange. Summer looks just like Autumn to him.

Another is heightened sensitivity to green light, which my brother has, making red and green more dominant in his vision. It results in him seeing most pinks as blue or purple and most browns as green. (The reason pink is blue is because pink is simply the absence of green light)

Oddly enough he hangs out with someone who has lowered sensitivity to red and green. making them less dominant than other colors.

Those are the types I know of.
