Where in **** did you go in Canada? I live in Alberta and I've actually never even seen bagged milk, or heard people say "aboot" or "hoose". I'm a Canadian and even I'd be scared of all that..

From Canada, used to live in Korea before I moved there. I think it's stupid that you didn't use a holder to hold the bagged milk.

Montrealfag here, Quebec has mainly milk bags, Only certain stores have milk jugs/cartons and even then they tend to be the tiny 1-litre jugs as opposed to a pouch of 3 2-litre bags.

It was somewhere in the eastern part. A few hours north and west of the falls, although i don't know where exactly.
Honestly had i not been there i wouldn't have thought they could be so stereotypical.
I think they might have played it up a bit for me but it was just as horrible as i described.
I can't describe how bad it felt to be there
and the worst part is i have to go back this Christmas

There are bags of milk in eastern Canada. But there are still ******* cartons. OP is a liar.

Canada ******* sucks
User avatar #9 to #5 - repostforlife (12/05/2012) [-]
I'm from Canada aye. and bagged milk is normal, you are meant to put it in the holder for it, it kinda looks like a pitcher in a way.
#12 to #9 - cadenzabrony (12/05/2012) [-]
but why not pour the milk into the pitcher instead of putting the bag in the pitcher?

or better yet, it could start off in a pitcher.
and it could have a narrow top, and a lid for ease of use.
User avatar #594 to #12 - nightmaren (12/06/2012) [-]
Milk's in bags here for a reason. It keeps it fresher and **** , and then easier to recycle.
User avatar #14 to #12 - repostforlife (12/05/2012) [-]
no you PUT the bag in it, to hold it, then cut a small corner to pour the milk out of it.
User avatar #15 to #14 - cadenzabrony (12/05/2012) [-]
but why not just pour the bagged milk into the pitcher?
the bag is unnecessary.
User avatar #46 to #15 - deathchain (12/05/2012) [-]
Pretend the milk bag is a vacuum bag and the milk-bag container is a vacuum cleaner. You use the bag until it can't be used anymore, and then swap it out for a new one.
#45 to #15 - drshkidz (12/05/2012) [-]
Because then you'd have to clean the pitcher every time you dense **** . I bet originally the concept was to do just that and someone who wasn't a raving ******* said "Hey, they've already got the god damn bags anyways and there's nothing else to do with them but sit in the recycling bin for a week (because other countries are more considerate in regards to the environment than "Murrica I suppose)."
It angers me that people have thumbed your useless ass up, it really does.
#575 to #45 - elcreepo (12/05/2012) [-]
Recycle bag- sits in the recycling bin for a week after use, no water/resources wasted
Don't recycle bag- plastic lasts forever in landmine

Recycle milk jug- sit in recycling bin for a week, no water/resources wasted
Don't recycle- plastic lasts forever in landmine

It doesn't honestly matter either way. America recycles milk jugs. Why am I arguing about this.
