Only thing that will happen on 21st December is that we'll have to find another "end of the world" date.

Considering that the last "end of the world" dates are separated from each other by more or less 6 years and a hal (1st Jan 2000, 6th Jun 2006, 21st Dec 2012), I suggest choosing some day around the June of 2019 the next "end of the world date" to keep the progression.

I've been surrounded by some supersticious people, and after dealing with their bullshit for some time(the effect 2k, the 6/6/6 day, the Mayan appocallypse) it was easy to notice the pattern.
