I may have been about 8 when this happened but one day I was in the library, in the children's section and right there sitting on one of the computer chairs, was a woman breastfeeding. The chair was facing the entrance to the children's section.

There was a bathroom specifically made for mother's like her, about 10 yards away. I mean, at least she could've gone to the very, very back in the non-fiction children's ******** .

Or go into the adult's part of the library, which had two floors and none of them were occupied.

But no. She had to go in there and **** up my childhood.

I don't mind public breast feeding, it's natural thing and I see nothing wrong with that.
I just don't like it when the mother is just fully exposing it as a way to show how maternal she is. "hey guys! Look how caring I am! FLOP FLOP FLOP"

Oh, I'm sorry would you rather have the baby screaming for a couple hours or would you rather I get my tits out for a few minutes?

Pretty sure I was very young when I first saw a women breastfeeding, it's never bothered me, lived in France for 6 years, so seeing boobs in public doesn't shock me.
It really is strange when people complain about mothers feeding their babies, babies don't like cold milk so the whole "they should pack bottles" isn't the best option when travelling.
People being offended by it really are pathetic, I've never known anyone who's a parent who's offended to see it in public, so I'm going to guess it's those jealous ones who haven't had that opportunity. Guys on the other hand, I don't see why it would bother them, a crying baby is infinitely worse than seeing a a baby suck on a massive breast.

Breastfeeding is fine, but I saw a woman actually change her baby on a table in McDonald's because apparently the changing rooms were too 'cold'.

While I personally plan on covering up if I ever become a mother, I don't see what the big deal is when other people don't. Breastfeeding is not disgusting or sexual.
It's much like wearing a swimsuit at the beach or pool even though it's unacceptable to wear underwear in most public places - it's all about context and intention.

I was such an ugly baby. My mother never breast-fed me. She told me she only liked me as a friend.

Why do people get offended? It's completely natural and it's happened to pretty much everyone

If a mother is carrying her baby in public, she should be prepared. That's what diaper bags are for...she should have a small blanket to cover herself if she MUST breastfeed in public. If not...find a bathroom or a quiet, hidden place.

"But it's natural! I shouldn't have to be restricted to breastfeeding in a disgusting bathroom!"

If that's the argument, then I should be able to **** in public, too. Can I? No.

Let the butthurt flow through me!
User avatar #22 to #16 - Crusader (12/04/2012) [-]
Well no, that argument is flawed.
Fecal matter is waste, and contains compounds that can cause illness if ingested, and therefore, ******** in public is unclean and can cause harm.
Whereas breastfeeding is simply feeding the child.

The **** ... the kid's hungry... would it be better to just let the kid cry and be hungry?

If your baby has to eat your baby has to eat. It's a lot better than having the ******* baby crying
