Honestly, I prefer women to men friends. I feel better making a girl laugh than a guy. And women just have a sense of humour closer to mine, I guess. I can get along with anyone, I'm really outgoing and amiable, but I tend to stick around girls more. They look better, laugh better, and I have more fun with them in general. And all of my relationships started from the brotherzone (wincest).

But, yeah, I agree. I'll even say I'm guilty of being negative toward women online, but that's how I am. In person I'm a really good guy, but the internet desensitizes and depersonalizes things and makes me a complete and total asshole. I think that's a lot of the problem here.

And since that was happening the nerdy girls who wanted to be like the pretty girls collaborated with the dumb girls and gave them pointers. But you see, bitches be dumb as fuck so they didn't listen to anything but the style advice and the nerdy girls caught the dumb. So there was a mix-up and some nerdy girls became half stupid while the dumb bitched remained dumb but had acquired some new attire and some new slang to try and hold a half decent conversation with the nerdy guys. See, they couldn't talk to them otherwise because they were talking about fucking science and shit. Dumb bitches don't know shit about science! The dumb bitches knew in the beginning, the nerdy guys were not paying attention to their words so they could play on it. They would get caught in the web of whore! But soon the dumb bitches began to slip up, their full of holes and began to look ugly. Unknown to anyone really, one nerd... one man broke free and informed the nerdy world of the true form of the dumb bitch.

Lots of girls play video games, however they chose to not be attention whores by proclaiming they are "gaming girls".

1. We don't need them to exclaim that they're gamer girls, but you can usually tell when somebody plays video games, you'll hear them talking about it. Not about being a gamer, but talking ABOUT gaming.

2. Statistically, female gamers compromise about 35% of all gamers, and most of them really aren't actual gamers. Despite what this comic says, if a girl plays video games, she's usually not an actual "gamer" so to say. As in, someone you can discuss games with, new releases, what she liked about the games, etc.

From personal experience, I've met more than twice as many "hipster" female gamers than I have actual female gamers. Usually the type that go "oh yeah, I play video games", and then I ask them what they play, and they start listing casual E-rated games (And as you may know, E-Rated games aren't usually all that good, fun, or have anything to discuss.)

Well, I only play PC so whenever i hear somebody saying that they're "gaming girls" it ticks me off because I don't really give a crap about your gender. I have 5 good friends who are girls and play video games (not casually) and I have never heard them say they're "gaming girls".
You will only hear somebody saying they're "gaming girls" if they're attention whores or want free shit, no dedicated girl that plays games would ever call out that she is a "gamer girl".

You can't say how much time I spend on the internet, you really don't know. I've had IRL experiences that have influenced my opinion too.
I know not all guys are like that either but I've had to deal with sexism a lot as a female and never really said anything about it, coz if you do it's just an opportunity for them to take the piss out of you even more. This happens on the internet AND in real life.

I've had (still do) a really good friend in high school whom I knew for several years before I randomly asked whether he watched any anime and suggested that he should watch death note. Turns out he's almost as much of an anime nerd as me but since animes are not really accepted that much here in germany (or were 5 years ago) we'd never talked about it before.
I'm fairly sure there are a lot of gamer girls (hell my sister is one) but they don't necessarily show that openly.

Wow I experienced the same situation. I was new in school and did not really had any friends in my class. But once I heard my classmates talking about a game they all were going to play and I wanted to join in the conversation because I was familiar with the game. And when I spoke they gave me the most awkward looks ever and just turned away in silence. I felt like they took a shit in my soul. I was juat trying to be fucking nice.
