Haven't seen Dead Snow and the only "Living Dead" title I have seen is the original Night of the Living Dead.

Dead Snow's a German movie about Nazi zombies summoned by a curse placed on a box of Jewish jewelry. They were basically just people, though, they organized, ambushed, and actually had a few punch 'n' kick fight scenes...

Return of the Living Dead is a black comedy from the 1980s, and this graph basically sums it up with "You're Screwed"....the zombies didn't die after being decapitated or dismembered and the removed body parts acted independently, they could speak and coordinate, in fact, a recurring scene had the zombies using the radios of emergency responders like cops and paramedics they'd killed to have more sent in. They try cremating the parts but the smoke comes down in the rain, soaking into the soil and bringing everything in the graveyard back up, they just....yeah. Worth checking out though!
