Alright. Good thing your sitting down, cause I' got a story to tell.
This is my girl Leia.
I got her when she was smaller than the palm of my hand.
Happy snake is happy)
Now, , she was
going To be a feeder rat.
The kind That gets Thrown in
with a snake and killed)
But as she grew older, I noticed that she was a bit lonely
Sure, she got excited when I opened the cage and
called for her, but otherwise, she was really bored.
But I had other things going on, so I couldn' T
always be around to hold her and love on her.
My husband and I went to our
favorite pet shop one day. He was
on the kookout for a bearded
dragon, and to mosey on
over the feeder section.
As I looked at the rats and mice, one in particular caught my eye.
She was skittish and quick, but I was eventually able to pick her up
and bring her to my husband (who was in the reptile room at the time)
Well, long story short, half of the little ones
face had been tom at and ripped off,
and I felt a great need to save her.
So, after having a serious talk, we took
IT looked as if her eye had been bitten
into. We smelled the stench of rotting
flesh on her face. Her skin was
somewhat falling/ peeling off. yet she
did not complain when I started
Miraculously, she started to
recover. The skin was healing back
up, and even little patches of fur
started covering her ripped skin.
Even her eye started healing.
I introduced Leia and the little one,
and they took to each other
Soon, they were cuddling up together
in the same box, building the nest
together, and sharing grooming tips.
Kg E T We named her Navi
See? all better :D
Anyways, that' s my story. It' s
not funny, but I think it' s feelful.
