Well of course, but I guarantee you there'd be less of them. Look at the Israel vs. Palestine conflict. Of course it's over land, but what are some of the excuses used to justify their war? Religion. Look at the fucking middle east. Islam is fucking them all over. 9/11. Hitler felt he was doing god's will. Look at all the hatred of gay people. Slavery was defended with the bible. Rabbis give babies infections which they ultimately die from during the religious ceremony for circumcision. They actually suck the babies' dicks. People vote for leaders based solely on their religious affiliation. Religion teaches people to not use critical thinking. It's harmful to society. There will still be disputes of course, but "faith" won't be an excuse, and people won't sympathize when they realize how dicky a nation or group is that previously claimed to be doing the will of god.

You're forgetting the fact that, at this point in a society with so much religion, people will start to think that they have no reason for morals. Some people are just like that, and then we would be even worse off, with not only some critical thinking frowned upon, but being destroyed. Cults are far worse than religions

No, I am saying that people wouldn't be able to go from religion to non-religion. In addition, the first humans would have needed some incentive to not be a dick, which came from religion, so either way society wouldn't be able to develop. Besides, there are a lot of differences between cults and actual religions, even though they have a lot of similarities as well. 1. You can leave a cult 2. You must get permission to join a cult 3. Cults discourage logical thinking even more than religion.

I left christianity. Most people go from religion to disbelief who move away from religion. It's very easy.
