I totally agree. I think it's the fact that he's a neckbeard that uses dumb jokes that appeal to the general masses on the internet (including wearing that dumb ******* hat). I personally cannot stand the people that are really into the internet like he seems to be (no offense to 75% of this website). By "people that are really into the internet" I mean the people that value the internet to a point where it influences their personality, choice of friends, and activities. If you're a big fan of anime or MLP, if you use memes in real life more than every once in a while (like once a month), if you more friends on sites like FJ than in real life, or if you really like Japan (unless you or your immediate family are from there), you qualify. However, everyone's entitled to their own lifestyle and I don't have the right to judge you or tell you what to do, but I do have a right to voice my opinion. I just believe that real life should be a person's main focus, and not the internet. And mind you that this is coming from someone who was bullied for most of their lives and was pretty much like this a few years ago. But I veered away from the internet, started focusing on improving my social skills, and now I'm not bullied at all and have a decent amount of friends.

I'm sorry if this offends anyone, because that was not my intent.

And sorry krazyms for going on a long tangent. I just felt that I had to voice my opinion on this site at least once.

I can't say I wholly disagree with you, but I do to an extent. I don't think being into anime, the internet, or the like is a negative influence on your personality. That's like saying being into sports or caring for social standing automatically makes you a douchebag. And for that matter, having more friends online than in real life doesn't really say anything either. In some areas, at least in the U.S., people into the same things as someone who's on the internet often are few and far between. It's like throwing a fish onto dry land. The fish could swim just as well, if not better, as anyone else, but its in the wrong environment to be able to display itself.
I guess my point is, you have to take the individual into account, rather then generalizing the group. But, there are cases of people "from the internet" who do really need to improve themselves more, otherwise they wouldn't have so much to complain about all the time.
