In the Pokemon Adventures manga, there is an Evee that has been experimented on, and it can change its evolutions back and forth with the three stones. But that damages its body, if I remember correctly....

what if your eevee wanted to be one of the evolutions? and you didn't know cause you can't speak eevee-nese and picked the wrong evolution, or was super mean and kept it an eevee when it wanted to be glaceon, or leafeon, or something?

well.....I think it would rather want to be an Eevee then have me make a mistake and chose an evolution it didn't want.....I could always just show them the stones or something and see which one they want
