I built mine, First thing I downloaded was Chrome, actually. And then Utorrent, and like 900GB of Music, Vidya, and movies.

I built mine too and it's full of games and music and etc etc

I used to have like 120GB of Music.
It was a great collection. I still cannot remember half the shit I listened to back then, breaks my heart.

Basically, it is just everything that is wrong with the web. As a developer, I have to spend another 3-6 hours on websites making them work with IE 7+
It is the bane of all developers.

It is also unbelievably slow, has too many loop holes to count (the most recent one being an attacker could take control of your entire computer, just from some "simple" code if you went to the site.
The release cycle is sporadic, and nothing ever really improves. While Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera (and others) pretty much support HTML5 and CSS3, IE is still lagging behind.
Can't think of anymore at the moment, if you need more reasons let me know.

Not entirely sure why you're being thumbed down, it's a valid question. Maybe because you just blindly jumped on a bandwagon without thinking about it.

At any rate, IE is slower, more prone to virus infection, and crashes a crazy lot.
