I like reading about different opinions that people have. Not trying to anger anyone, just telling you my views as well:

I've always been an atheist. Probably because my country is the least religious country on earth.

I have never claimed to know that god doesn't exist.

I just assume.

Like you would assume that there's no one at the door. I mean, there could be. But I just assume there isn't, because no one's knocking, the doorbell is all quiet, there's no voices coming from behind the door. There is literally no reason to believe there's someone at the door.

That's called agnostic atheism.

The url was a wiki link. You can find it yourself because I am not esteemed enough.

But some one may be at the door waiting for you...quietly.
Means that because of your point some one may still be at the door even if the are no signs. Just like coma! No signs of living but, the guy is alive.

Yes, for example there could be a magical unicorn at the door who doesn't like talking and who can't reach the doorbell and whose hooves are so tiny and soft that when he tries to knock, there's no sound.

Even though that's a possibility I would still just assume there's no one at the door, since I haven't seen this unicorn or heard him. I would probably just chill and not think about such things.

Poor little magical unicorn.
