Yes, gorillas indeed share a big portion of our DNA. Even small differences between two species can prevent them from breeding. But that also proves that black and white people are so much alike that there is almost no difference. At least not for nature.

Also, genes that determine skin color are such a small fraction of the genome that It's almost ridiculous to state that skin color is an indicator for evolution.

Black and caucasian people are from the same species. The differences evolved according to the surroundings, and the facial features were also part of that. Therefore it is just wrong to look at one trait - for example, "apelike facial features" - and mark black people as less evolved.
While the faces of white people changed over time, so did different traits in black people.

And it doesn't tell anything about how far the person evolved. Just like skin color. It is just one trait, and you cannot measure evolution by looking at one trait.

Ok, seeking knowledge is a good thing, can't argue with that. Also, finding your own answers is a good policy to have.
But in science this can't be applied to everything. You simply can't find every answer on your own. Science is based around exchanging ideas and findings because, for example, not every biologist can make his own test to find out about evolution. At some point, you have to believe others.

You can seek knowledge on your own all you want, but in the end you will realise that there are questions you can't answer. And most people who come to this point just start to believe whatever they want - just because they want to believe it.

I give you that much: Yes, I know that facts are manipulated. But you must also know that as much as my opinion can be influenced by false facts, yours could be too.

Just because your opinion is the complete opposite of what the "people in power" seemingly want everyone to believe doesn't automatically make it right.
