Melanin, the thing that gives people skin colour, blocks out the UVA/UVB rays and the head that the sun produces, that's why it's in africans in such large doses. To stop them from getting burns and overheating. And that is why in places like Russia, people are extremely pale, as they need to absorb as much sunlight as possible.

well no skin doesnt work that way.___. i mean yes their color absorbs heat but imma because they have been in the sun for so many generations they eventually just adapted to the sun's burning rays through a microevolution of pigment color. This pigment color (black) protects the skin from skin cells being destroyed by UV light Thats why white people get so buttfucked red in the sun...its cause we mostly come from places of colder milder not so sunny climates so our skin is like ERHMAHGERDIMDYING and we become alil tan after the beach because the skin cells are dead/regenerating
