There are 3 types of hatred towards Apple.

The first is the easiest o explain and its just blind hatred from people who love to hate things.

The second (and probably the group most deserving of their hate) comes from ex apple fans who used to love what apple did until apple started coasting and no longer being revolutionary but kept throwing the word around like they patented it.

The third is the widest form of hate, this comes from the people who know enough about computers to see that apple products just do not compare spec wise or price wise with the competitors.

I myself fall into the third group, i was too young to experience the glory days of apple and have only experienced the over hyped pieces of crap they keep churning out. But to be honest i don't hate apple for what they have done, i hate their products yeah but given the same situation, a way to maximize profits by cutting down R&D costs and having a horde of apple zombies which will buy your product the day of launch even if the previous product came out like 6 months prior. I would totally do that. The thing i hate most about the whole apple product stuff is the people who buy the product with only the intent to browse FB and twitter and instagram, these are the people who do not know how to handle money, these are the people contributing to recessions.

Let's be honest here.
For most people, you can buy a windows, or a mac, or anything you'd like. Because in the end, all you're going to do is look at cats on the internet.

You'd end up paying the same amount if you bought an equivalent PC with all of the professional grade programs. Your arguments are the equivalent to "I bought this great Ford Fusion because it's a great family car, why on earth would someone buy a Rolls Royce?" Just because you don't have the need for the programs doesn't mean the computer is bad...

I could present my argument on why I hate macs, because I have a pretty good reason. I work with computers, and I know most of my ****

But I'm tired of it. So, I'll just post a funny picture about it, and wait for the macfags to get offended by it and then call me uneducated

Why would you bother saving up for a Mac in the first place?

This sums it up.

Mac: For people who have limited skills in computing and need a simple interface with low maintenance that has all of the programs they need in one place.

PC: For people who have computing skills and know how to use a PC for literally ANYTHING a Mac can do and know how to take care of a computer.

I will pause here. There's nothing wrong with having limited computing skills; maybe you just don't care for computers or get your entertainment elsewhere or have no real use for computers in your daily life.

That said, you're a noob if you can't get the Mac OS and its programs on your PC for free. I mean, you could theoretically buy two PCs for the price of one Macbook and boot one with Mac OS and one with Windows. There may be a market for PC laptops which have been converted to run Mac OS. If you're knowledgeable about computers, I think it's retarded to buy a Mac, but if you don't know a lot about computers (Until PC-to-Mac converted laptops are available), I think it's reasonable enough to buy a Mac.

Tl;dr: Macs: For people with little knowledge about computers
PCs: For people with knowledge about computers

….. It was a birthday present. What the hell was I supposed to say, "No, I don't want this gift because I'm a pretentious asshole who is too good for it"?

dude i can say that i love my macbook much more than my PC i had before. And the reason i got it was for music production, so that only makes sense. But i agree if you want to do any gaming then a mac is a bad choice. I just record n browse n **** on this thing.

Why does anyone give a flying **** about what computer anyone else uses? I use a mac because I grew up using them. You can use whatever computer you want and literally no one else will be affected by it yet we spend weeks debating over it. I really am getting sick of the computer superiority debate myself. I purchased my computer solely on personal preference. Just because you own a windows doesn't entitle you to anything, no one will respect you more. Yes i'
m a mac fag, but guess what, I give a wholloping total of zero ***** !

yes, we can all agree Apple's product's cases are nice looking and shiny. There's not much argument there. Reusing the same appearance/colors is a bit of an issue though...

>save up for a $2,200 MacBook
>buy a Razer Blade gaming laptop for $1,500
>Razer Blade has a quad-core processor and 2 video cards and 10 GB of RAM
>spend the rest on hookers and coke

Neither Razer Blade laptop is

A. $1,500
B. Equipped with dual graphics cards.
C. Equipped with 10GB RAM

On top of that the Quad Core Razer is $2,500

Still I prefer PC regardless.

Actually, got a brand new laptop, for 700, and a badass 1968 vw bug for 800. Grand total for car and laptop, 1500. Grand total for a macbook? 2,200.
