Number 1 is probably the most repetitive piece of shit game in the world compared to the rest. Do three pointless missions, then you can kill a guy, rinse and repeat.
It's a good series as a whole though.

SendoTenshi (11/24/2012) [-] I played about 25 percent of the first one when it came out and then just recently started the ezio trilogy and so far haven't had any problems understanding anything thats going on or getting adjusted to the systems. in fact, 2 seemed light years ahead of 1 for some reason. In my honest opinion, with how fast they popped so many titles out for the series, its almost like each game is just a beta for the next.
