Thanks dude. I just finished the original a week ago and finished AO Tuesday morning. Idk if it was because I was still on an E7 high, but I rather liked AO. Doesn't really compare in any way to the original of course, but the last half was still rather decent.

I think so as well. Many people didn`t like the sequel at all. They state that it`s horrible as a sequel and didn`t do its job properly at all, but I just viewed it as a show by itself, and to me it was very nice.

See, that's exactly what I did for at least the first half. I just considered it as a standalone series and it was pretty decent, then it finally lived up to it's Eureka Seven name and brought Eureka back. The ending was a little bittersweet, but it left it open enough for (hopefully) more sequels.

I kinda sorta don't get this one.

By the beginning of Astral Ocean many people have thought that the universe in AO might be the one that Nirvash and Gonzy were talking about. I.E. a separate universe where half of the scub will be transported to.

Okay yeah I get it now. That's what I was kinda thinking, so this makes sense now.
