A, C, D, C, A, B

scoped (probably semi-auto) rifle- i have more experience with hunting rifles, and thats the closest one.
silenced pistol- it's quiet, but has a fast fire rate, whereas a crossbow is single shot and takes time and effort to reload
Machete- i use them often, can be used as a greatly versatile tool as well as a weapon
Rope - rigging traps and rappelling if needed or building shelter in rural areas, flashlight would also be useful, but finding shelter at night would be easy enough, have a scope i can use as binoculars, and anything i need a swiss army knife for, i can use a machete or my hands for.
hummer - flatten bitches like a mother ****** , gas would be free (until it's used up), and it can be rather fast. a dirt bike leaves you open to everything, can't be used as shelter at night. i have no idea how to operate a tank. boat would be a good choice, as zombies can't swim, but if something happens and it sinks, you're ****** .

i spent too much time on this.

1. I'd probably go for the assault rifle here. Because I can use it in a lot more situations than a shotgun, RPG or a sniper rifle.
2. Probably the crossbow which is silent and you can get the bolts back and create new ones.
3. Probably either the katana because it will slice right through everyone who's not armoured.
4. The swiss army knife.
5. The tank because even without fuel I can use it as a fortress.
6. Probably Bear Grylls on this one.

that "sniper rifle" is basically a modified M4. Its an RSASS, take the scope off the rail and use it a single shot preision weapon.

Shotgun, simple design, that Particular model is Spas-12, which may be semi-autmatic depending on the model
Crossbow, ammo easy to recreate, and easy to maintain
Baseball Bat, will never go dull, doesn't need gas
Swiss Army Knife, crossbow has a scope that can be used as a binocular, flashlight needs battery, rope is common, and the Swiss knife can help maintain the crossbow
Dirt bike, easy to maintain, simple engine design.
Olivai Wilde, do I even need a reason?

a for extreme range.
c for stealth kills.
b for easy maintenance and reach.
b for distraction and for buildings.
d to avoid getting trapped on shore and to find secluded areas.
no extra humans, too much added risk.

1: A- Sniper Rifles are the way to go. Long distance down. Their effective killing range as compared to their noise attraction range is also awesome.

2: C- Stealth and silence is your best bed. If not C, then D though.

3: D- Everything else is either flimsy, noisy, or ineffective.

4: B- Probably the Maglite, just because it's insanely bright, heavy-duty, and can be used as a bludgeon.

5: B- Good gas mileage, fast, easy to repair, and not bound to roads.

6: Terry Crews, just because why the **** not. He's a big black dude who will beat the **** out of everything.
#49 - anonymous (11/22/2012) [-]
1. A - If I can take them out in the distance they present no danger.
2. B - Obviously a sniper rifle is not that fast shooting, so I need something for a back up when they are close.
3. A - Despite what weeaboos claim, kantanas are **** . A motor saw needs fuel so either a machete or a bat, however the machete might get stuck and fail to cut through a bone. Also, see number 4:
4. D - Considering there is a scope on the rifle, I see no reason to get binoculars, a flash light or other light source could be practical but admittedly also pretty ******* common, I can easily put together a flashlight from junk. Then there is robe, and well... I won't be tying up anyone so let's forget it. Swiss armyknife for multiple reasons, I'll need multiple tools and it has a blade thus rendering another use of the machete obsolete.
5. C - Assuming or even presuming the zombies are lacking a certain intelligence, this ****** right here is a fortress. I can live inside it in relative safety at night and only move at day. Not super fast, but considering how impossible it will be for zombies to get inside it, I think it outweights the consequences. I also presume I won't be having any ammonition for the canon or machine gun.
6. C/B - Terry Crews or Jason Statham. Bear Grylls would be too busy drinking my piss, Olivia Wilde would be too busy being a woman and fat kids would eat my food. I want Terry Crews or Jason Statham so I can bro-up with them.

1. SPAS-12 Shotgun, Good for clearing a lot of em when they get too close.
2. Crossbow, Long-range silent take down good for game hunting too.
3. Katana, sharp and pretty long range, may be unwieldy at extreme close quarters but that's why I have the shotgun.
4. Rope, I learned from everywhere that rope is crucial.
5. The 4WD, I don't plan on drowning at sea and it'll run the longest out of the other land vehicles.
6. Bear grylls, I'll find other girls if I stay alive long enough... hopefully

1. Skipping for now. I'm not proficient with guns and would likely only hurt myself. I'll decide after I've taken a course and had some practice, which should be ASAP.
2. D) The crossbow is really my only option, as stated above. Plus ammo retrieval assuming I can pick the infected off one at a time, and not have to deal with hordes.
3. A) A baseball bat provides the blunt force trauma that I'd need to incapacitate an infected attacker, and with my strength, a sword/machete would only cut partway through my target before getting stuck and leaving me helpless. The chainsaw is just ridiculous. It uses gas that would help me more in my vehicle and is loud, clumsy, and heavy. Really, I think I'd only need a melee weapon in a pinch where I'm cornered or surrounded. And even then I'd be trying to clear a path away from danger, not bashing in every head.
4. All. I'm not choosing one item from a list of incredibly useful things. The binoculars are indispensable if I have to travel, and the rest are already in my disaster kit. In fact, I should add binoculars and move my kit into a backpack for better readiness. Taking only one is likely to leave me wanting for the others when my life depends on it. Be prepared.
5. A) I don't really like any of these choices, but I think the Hummer would be best because it will fit my supplies, myself, and my teammate. It also provides some shelter when we aren't moving. I still don't like the fuel economy of it, but with gas jugs, it works.
6. A) I'm not saying that Jason or Terry wouldn't be valuable, because frankly, I dunno. Bear Grylls though at least has the know how to keep me alive. Repopulation isn't gonna happen with just Ms. Wilde and myself and Fat Kid bait is just sick (also one time use per kid). I would still prefer Les Stroud, but I think we'll manage.

2. D - infinite Ammo, can take out zed and collect ammunition when advancing.
3. B - Very sharp, could cut a head off easily.

5. D - Use 1 to clear off land before I head in. (Have a larger boat after a while to retreat to)

I hate to get get technical but what kind of zombies are in said apocalypse? Do the zombies run or do they just shuffle? Are they attracted to sound, or are they brain dead? These are are things I need to know prior to picking gear good sir.

1: C Assault rifles are quite good.

2: B, Pretty much a miniature assault rifle.

3: D, It's a slasher so I can just slice **** in half.

4: C, Rope is useful for getting on top of buildings.

5: C, pack it with food and use it as a home, zombies can't use weapons and the hatches lock, and it has composite armor. So it's pretty much impenetrable to zombies.

6: C, Terry Crews, for reasons.
User avatar #4 - nextgenmidgett (11/21/2012) [-]
