I know you think you love her, but come on man, you need to grow up and accept that she has fallen in love with someone else. How would you feel if you finally proposed to her, and then right before you two got married some guy came along and stole her from you. And how is he an asshole? I can't help but think that you're just projecting "the guy's an asshole" because you're (understandably) upset. Trust me, man, I'm going through something a lot like this, and I know it sounds cliche, but if you truly love her, you'll let her be with who she loves. Don't let your love for this girl be poisoned by jealousy, selfishness and bitterness. Life is not a Lifetime movie, and this action you're taking can only end poorly. Be happy for her, and you'll be happy yourself.

I know the feeling. 7 years ago I met what only i could describe as "the one" but seeing as i was only a 15 year old skinny nerd i never even considered asking her out. She moved a year later and have only seen her once or twice since then. I never said how i felt and i never asked how she felt about me. Every girl i've dated since she left I've broken up with simply cause they could measure up to her.

Now two years ago almost to the day I got tired of just messaging her and not seeing her so i sold my Xbox and games to pay for a ticket to fly and see her. little did i know she was engaged. I said fuck it! And told her everything i felt about her. She didnt answer me. she said i should probably go.

Never cried that hard in my life. I left went home and was never so depressed in my life. about a year ago she calls me at work (mcdonalds). Tells me shes always loved me and how she left the guy she was going to marry so she can be with me and has always thought about me and was scared about how i felt about her. Now we both weren't in any position to move at that time. so i went to school and now in the process of finding a job out where she is.

Hello FJ. The trip went well, I had a lot of fun and I actually said everything to her. She got mad ( as I thought I would happen) and her fiance got even madder. Long story short, they are not together anymore, but No only because of me, they got really mad after what happened and she told me she told him that she needed some time to think. But what happens? It seems the asshole was cheating on her ( which I found disgusting, who the fuck would cheat on such a beautiful girl) and everything got canceled. We've been speaking almost everyday since she found that ( she didn't speak to me obviously after I told her all my feelings infront of her fiance) and everything is on the right track. I'm going to go visit her to where she lives in a couple of weeks and keep going on my quest. Thank you very much for the support FJ everything is going great ( at least for her and I). This takes time and I knew that, but I overcome the biggest obstacle, and I'm proud of it. Guys, don't you stop fighting for what you love, even if it looks impossible, there is always a chance to succedd. Cheers comrades, this story isn't over.
