If I were to want to kill myself, I would find a way to take a trip to the moon. I would stand and stare at our beautiful planet, with a picture of my wife in hand, and simply remove my helmet. So the last thing I see is that beautiful blue orb, and that gorgeous woman with my naked eyes before my passing.

The only ting that could get me to do that is losing her.

Your lungs don't burst, they implode and fold in on themselves because all the air is sucked out of them.
It's why, if you ever DO go into a complete vacuum, you should empty your lungs beforehand.
It'll increase survival by about 20 seconds if you're lucky, which may not sound like much, but may save your life.

the air doesn't get sucked out. it expands inside. it's not that you have to empty your lungs. it's that you have to open your throat so that the air finds a way out. if it doesn't find one, it MAKES one. that's why the first and most important rule of diving is to never EVER stop breathing. if you do, and ascend just one meter, it's enough to burst your lung.
