I allowed myself to slowly but surely reveal myself to this stranger, letting them in on parts of my life, moments in my day. They never replied, they only followed my every action, read into each of my motives and became engrossed in my tale. As I relayed every bit of information about myself I possibly could, I realised something - This wasn't just a regular person who was learning more and more about me. They were analysing me. Judging me constantly, an ever-changing opinion based on each subtle movement.

I turned over. They turned with me.

I jumped a small gap. They jumped with me.

I. Started. Speaking. Much. Slower. They. Too. Slowed. Their. Pace.

It was a never-ending game of cat and mouse, but one which only I was aware of. The vulnerability that I was portraying, the ability for me to become this... open book in front of my new-found audience. It was... liberating. No matter what I did, they never judged me. Sure, they occasionally put me down and walked away, but it wouldn't be long before they came back, again wondering where I was. What was I doing now? Had my mood changed since the last time they stared deep into my soul?

The more I allowed myself to follow this train of thought, the more I found myself entwined in this person's day-to-day life. We were there for each other - yet neither of us truly understood it.

Too lazy to look through comments to see if someone posted this but that sounds like this episode from the Teen Titans.

I had an idea for a story where the writer was writing a romance novel and when she fell in love with the main character, he became real...they met in real life but the guy from the book had no interest in her and just like in the novel, fell for someone else. So the writer got over obsessive trying to get her creation to love her. However, the guy already existed and the writer had been stalking him and fantasizing about him and the book was nothing more than a composition of insane ramblings.

I would make a series of short-stories where the characters feels like they are being
watched by someone (the reader).
Some would go insane, some kill themselves while one fall in love.
Each story happen at a different time, so that the current character could hear about it
on the news...

(I sat at the toilet for a while after seeing this post)

There is. I wrote an autobiography and it got so intense I took me right then and there on the desk. It was good for both of me.

I had an idea once for a duet of books mainly aimed at couples. One would be along the lines of mystery/horror for the guys, the other romance for the girls. The kicker would be that one took place in the dreams of the main character from the other, and the two books would each contain references that are explained in the other. This would encourage the readers to converse with each other about their respective stories in order to get the full experience of the books.

Such plans quickly fell through when I realized I can't write romance for **** ...

You know, most of the time Tumblr is full of "What the **** did I just read?" moments, but there are those few that make me think. That is actually a fantastic idea.

I dont see what the point is, fangirls like the ones on tumblr already think of random ******** Like one straight male character being in love with another and say its canon to whatever they fangirl over. More than likely there are some that say that characters they read or watch are actually in love with them, they are that stupid.
