You sound exactly like those pretentious assholes who buy this type of stuff. A message in art is implied, left for our interpretation, that usually means it starts off showing EFFORT and this, looks like shit. Forget the "message" it sends, if you are able to find one then it isn't there, you're just over-analyzing it. Which is what everyone does with art now, they see shit, over-anaylze it to be some genious piece of work, and buy it for a giant sum of cash just because they can have "an original work".
