I can name all the European countries (I think), I learned them off by heart while procrastinating over some homework. United Kingdom, Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Bosnia, Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, Serbia, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Austria, Liechtenstein, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands. Then I made this. Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Russia are considered European by some.
America is one country, I don't see why Europeans should be educated on the various states...
I've just spoken to some non-bullshitting honest yanks, and they say that probably less than 10% of Americans could name all 50 states just from memory, and less than 1% could name them all and point them all out on a map (if that map was blank, obviously).
So if less than 10% of Americans can name all states and less than 1% of them know where they all are, how are we meant to know?
I'm not saying Americans are dumb, I'm sure there's a large amount of Europeans who can't name every country in Europe.
They also say less that 40% of Americans know where Iraq is or that only about 60% know where the UK is...
Here's an article which is kind of related: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1368482/How-ignorant-Americans-An-alarmi ng-number-U-S-citizens-dont-know-basic-facts-country.html
It's coming out that most Americans couldn't pass their own citizen tests (the ones that immigrants are forced to take).
I don't mind red thumbs, I'm sure someone will get butthurt, but my goal wasn't to offend anyone, I just looked it up and found it all interesting.
