The only people who are losing money on their content because of piracy are those who don't make content worth paying for.
I would want to get a gift card just to hold in my wallet and look at when i'm feeling down.
It would be cool if the pirate bay actually sold these. not like for actual use but like a novelty item. the money they get from it is like a donation.

I'm going to take a risk here and post an anti-piracy opinion on the Internet.
You see, there is a difference between what that quote says(All humans should have unlimited access to knowledge) and what 99% of TPB does, let people get games/music/movies for free that they ought to pay for. The word for that is stealing, but apparently, since its a copied file, it doesn't matter right? Its not like your getting a product without paying for it. Some one else did to get that file in the first place, so its fine. No its fucking not.
Let it be known I don't very much care for people stealing movies and music, those mediums make most their money at theatres and concert/contracts. But in the gaming industry, piracy seriously hurts developers, as much or more then the used game industry, and is part of the reason for high game prices. It also causes clusterfucks like that mess of Idontevens and Whatthefuckisthis's that was Diablo 3. In the near future, all games will be like that, because of piracy.
The only time I find piracy acceptable is for seeing if a game/program(Ive never even heard of someone practising this with music or movies) is worth it before hand, but only if you buy it afterwards if you liked it.

Fairly warned be ye, oh funnyjunkers. Tis a massive shitstorm below and everyone thinketh we want to hear their wretched opinions. Scroll down at your own risk.
Tack on $1 extra or equivalent to everyone's monthly Internet bill. I mean globally, every single person who pays for internet. That $1 would simply be a tax to distribute to the major music and movie industries around the globe This $1 would allow complete access to download all music and movies without any risk of criminal prosecution. Even though I find even this to be ridiculous, at least it would shut up the misinformed whiners and greedy corporations who actually think piracy causes a loss of sales. I would gladly pay $12 extra per year for the ability to download as much as I want.
"Universal access to commercial media is in our grasp, for the first time in the history of the world. This is not a bad thing." *fixed it for ya
There's also demonoid...and torrentleech...don't trust EZTV though
Yeah, I'm sure by "Human Knowledge" he actually meant "Free Games and Movies".
for all those but hurt pirate haters
torrents arenot evil
the pirates are not evil
pirates pirate cause they cant afford it at the moment
the true evil are the leachers
and for those who say ALL torrents should be shut down
do you know whats a free legal torrent?
katawa shoujo
you wouldn't want to lose that would you!
torrents provide away for people who have slow internet to download things in multiple shots instead of having to leave the device on all night leaving your device prone to over shiting its self and killing it self

It's funny when you here people bitching about pirating Avatar (James Cameron's) and how the piracy means he's not getting money.
