Where do you live because I do graphics for my GCSE's in England and im not sure if its the right thing to keep doing?

I live in Wales, It's not really where you live, It's better for you because London is closer, more stuffs in London, It all depends on who wants what and who they go to.

I studied media and TV production for the past 8 years, ended up getting a job as a scheduler for a crappy satellite TV channel, after a year I became monumentally depressed at how mundane the job was, how there were no opportunities to progress, and I realised I should've studied something else for all those years.

From now on, I tell anyone interested in going to Uni that they should only go if they want to be a doctor, scientist or lawyer, something along those lines, everything else is a complete waste of time that can be used for something constructive.

To be honest, even though It's hard to find work and commissions and freelance stuff is very few and far between, I couldn't imagine doing anything else, I love Art, It's what i do.

Or do engineering. I'm becoming an electronic and electrical engineer. There are PLENTY of jobs for engineers, i was looking the other day and people are crying out for skilled engineers. Friends of mine is a chemical engineer who has a solid job in the oil industry.

I just finished Industrial Engineering Career, and i got a job in Maintenance Department ina a Rum/Vodka Factory :)

That too, a friend of mine who graduated recently also found a job in the field. Plus you can find lucrative work being freelance in that field.

Are you in America? Because I know a few American friends who's doing Art degrees, they going to go to art colleges and universities in Europe, where people have a different view on art and actually appreciate art.

the moajority of people think "Art? So you draw?" then they go through the whole "That's not a proper job" "That's not going to earn you money" etc etc, It's annoying, and it's unfair.

The only thing is, re-listening to the same god damn thing over and over again makes me want to grab a knife and jam it into my ears. The outcome, however, isn't bad; especially since I normally sit down for hours at a time playing random shit on a keyboard until something decent comes along.
Writing...I started something...Couldn't actually start it. Fuck.
Making video games...well... I have everything to get started and no ambition to do anything so I procrastinate.
