With infinite gravity, everything around it gets pulled towards its center, and since the mass is infinite, even light particles can't escape. So technically no, you're not "sucked" towards the center, but the picture is accurate, everything is "pulled" towards it.

Not necessarily. Black holes exist for a long time, if not forever. It could have drifted in. It didn't have to be created there to be there.

I have a question. Is there enough matter in the universe to create a black hole with an event horizon as large as the universe? (Not the observable universe, that whole thing)

I wouldn't think so, but how should I know? An Earth-mass black hole is supposedly one inch in diameter, and most of the universe (as far as we know) is empty space, so I don't think it'd be probable. Then again, I don't have any degrees in the subject matter.
