I really don't think that getting shot and surviving makes you a hard man, and rapping about it isn't cool either. Basically he was shot for being a gangster, being a gangster isn't cool, people in gangs are scum.
A 15 year old girl was shot in the head for standing up to the Taliban last month and survived, and I haven't seen her rapping about how the Taliban tried and failed to kill her, you know what I mean?
Now the faggot Islamic extremists are announcing a Fatwa on this girl, but I don't see her rapping about that.
Look, I understand that in America, it's cool to idolise thugs and gangsters, and that anything I say will go straight past you, but people really need to look and think about this sort of shit.
I like some of his music, but that won't change my opinion of the man.
