Mfw shops start selling christmas crap

We've had Christmas stuff for sale since September, where I work.
It's horrible.

I have already finished my christmas shopping, wrapped all the gifts, and I began putting up my tree yesterday. My friends and family say I have a problem. I say they lack sufficient christmas spirit.

oh yeah lets everyone all start buying it in December at the exact same time. You do know shops run out of stock sometimes, don't you? If you shop right before Christmas you're a shitty parent, all the good stuff is gone and your kids have to settle for the shitty stuff like they probably did the year before.

You know what bugs me even more than Christmas stuff beings sold now and music being played now? The fact that no holiday other than Christmas is sold in stores, other than specialty shops.

I really love Christmas, the food, the decorations, but people overdo it and it pisses me off. Here in NYC shops started putting up Christmas decorations and selling stuff right after Halloween, Christmas music was on the radio.

and then people wonder why i hate holidays when they force people to buy, buy, buy!
i remember the days when Christmas was about being with your family peace on earth and all the good shit
but now...

If they do not have it out so early, they would have to deal with people bitching about not being able to get ready for christmas.

Well no shit. There's not a whole lot of time between Christmas and Thanksgiving and Halloween. What appears to be a long amount of time, is hardly any.
