The rule is that if you get a pawn to the end of the board you can turn it into any piece you want. It's just the queen is the most logical choice.

But, you can't change the piece into a King.
This would be even funnier if at the end, the guy transformed into a Horse, and the other guy transformed into a Queen. Wouldv'e been a better example of Chess Logic.
