Sorry, I'm not quite sure about that point, I shouldn't of mentioned it in the first place (I was assuming they believed that Isreal wouldn't retaliate, since they seem to just do small scale rocket attacks constantly).

Nonetheless, Hamas is still attempting a mission that is damned near impossible since the Isrealis have owned this land ever since post-WW 2 and are deemed a legitimate country (not to mention that they want Jerusalem as the capitol of Palestine, which Israel does not want to give up). They are basically just adding fuel to the fire so to speak.

But like I mentioned before, it doesn't give any more rights to the Israelis to just send bombers over there and systematically annihilate every single civilian in Gaza, even if Hamas hides in hospitals. They are committing crimes against humanity by bombing these people.
