what really grinds my gears is when some guy thinks he's a legend at guitar when all he plays are 3 chords songs

Well, pretty much everything Oasis have ever released was written on an acoustic using open chords.

I'd definitely call Noel a guitar legend.

I'm talking about the guy you see in the cafeteria at lunch or at a party showing off his skills on guitar when all he's doing are the same 3 chords over and over, and considers themself amazing at guitar

Oh fuck me, in that case watch out for "PINCH HARMONIC SCOOPED MIDS DUDE".

I'd rather listen to some inoffensive chords on repeat than bloody pinch harmonics at the 3rd fret...

I can only do pinch harmonics up to the seventh fret. They're hard as fuck.

I play four chord progression.
But I play Folk-Punk. Nothing too fancy, really. Can I solo? Yes. Can I do pinch harmonics? Yes.
Do I? No.

I don't even know what the point of this comment is. I haven't slept in 63 hours.
I like your username. It makes my brain smile.

Also, what are you feelings on people who play guitar in public for money? (I mean in like.. a public park setting.) Not a kids park... You know. Just those parks with trees and shit? And maybe a river. Bridges.
Tall, black lamp posts look fucking cool in parks.

I play a lot of punk rock. Super easy chords structures, but if you're playing something like the Ramones then you get tired out super fast because of the eighth note downstrokes. I don't consider myself a god on guitar because I can play their stuff, but friends of mine think I'm a loser because the chord structures are so easy, but they try it out and they can only make it past like, the intro or something like that.

When it comes to the strumming patterns of Punk Rock, that's where the difficulty sets in, giving it the required skill level of being "at least" an intermediate guitarist. Like, listen to the song "Linoleum" by NOFX, and tell me that El Hefe's speed picking doesn't take skill. I dare you.
