Amusingly enough Angels as depicted by early Christian and Jewish (I think), art Angels were often depicted with 6 wings, multiple arms, etc and otherwise appeared to be, quite frankly, eldrich abominations. There is a reason why they're introduction traditionally begins with "Fear not".
