i only disliked navi because at the start of the game she had unskippable tutorial dialogue that i already knew. apart from that i didnt hate her at all.

The point of Majora's Mask is that link is looking for Navi because he missed her so much. I don't know how anyone could be annoyed with her after realizing how much Link loves her.

I never understood why Navi was annoying to anyone. To be honest, the only people who claim she was annoying, in my experience, have played the game at least three or more times and they were just annoyed they had to listen to her over and over... just because they couldn't stop playing. It was rather silly.

She's my favorite Link helper, right beside Midna. ;-;

Am I the only one that thinks Link got a **** deal by the end of OoT? We goes through all of this **** to pretty much have all those who loved him and all those he may have loved be forced out of his life even though he saved everything.
He receives no recognition because no one knows what he did because it technically didn't happen... he just grows up normally as the shunned Hylian child in a forest of elf... things...
All he get is Zelda.. who may or may not remember him... and all the chicks that wanted him are ******* sages sworn fully into a life they had no choice to be apart of.

I ask you this... was it truly worth it? Was it REALLY a happy ending?

Actually Zelda knows what happened. Before the start of Majoar's Mask Zelda sends you off and mentions all the **** you been through. A flashback thing happens that shows it.

So if the ruler of the kingdom knows, pretty sure other people know. Unless it is like a state secret or some ****.

What Link does get in the end is the sense that, because of him, all of his loved ones are safe. Who cares if know one else knows it?

The timeline in which he defeats Ganon continues to exist. It flows into Wind Waker. In his honor, boys dressed up in the same outfit he wore at a young age.

The Timeline in the past where it goes on to Majora's Mask eventually becomes Twilight Princess.

The idea is that because he's a hylian that went into the forest in Ocarina he turned into a Stalfos. Majora's maskis him slowly going insane and becoming said stalfos and finally the Stalfos that teaches you in Twilight is Ocarina Link. So yeah, **** deal.

That's what makes him a great Ledgend. He wen't through a **** life. Lost all is friends and slowly became a stalfos right? but he never complained not once.

actually link was protected by the great deku tree. theres no real 'curse' on the forest, its just that its called the 'lost' woods, so anyone who goes in will be 'lost.'. both in a literal and figurative sense.
people that go in cant find their way out, and eventually starve to death or die of illness. thus, they turn into stalfos, because theyre dead. link was protected by the deku tree so if he was ever lost he would return back to kokiri village.

link still technically holds the triforce of courage, so i dont think he would go insane

i think it did make him famous, in the intro to majoras mask it says 'crept away from the land that made him a legend'.
and it still technically did happen, because ganondorf was defeated in the future, not when he was a kid.

it wasnt a happy ending.
it was a heroes ending.

And then it turns out that all that **** he did was for ******* nothing because the sages' ****** seal broke and Ganondorf destroyed **** anyway and the ******* king of Hyrule made the gods flood the whole ******* planet and turn it into whole god damn ocean. It wasn't even a descendant of Link that ended up finishing Ganondorf for good, just some punk from an island of yokels that have kids pretend to be like him.

DISAGREE

Took me way longer to do everything in Majora's Mask than it took for me to do it in Ocarina. Plus, I think that the side stories and general overworld were just better

i preferred ocarina of time because of the fact it was such a chore getting all the masks to complete it. and the water temple was even harder then the one in OoT.

eh... i find they skimped out on the music in majoras mask.

You know, you don't actually need to have all the masks. All you get from having all 24 is the Fierce Deity mask, which isn't required to complete the game.

The biggest feel I had was at the very end of the game, where young Link and Zelda meet for the 'first time' and the game ends. I don't know why, it just does...
