Properly training and educating young boys on the correct and safe use of firearms = equipping them with the skills to become violent killers.

I agree guns are dangerous and unnecessary in many situations, but they're not evil neither is the use of guns. You can kill somebody with just about anything, guns are just more efficient.

In training them to use guns you are teaching them a higher level of responsibility. It would teach them the exact opposite, not to kill. While they would be more efficient at killing, they wouldn't do so unless they were already going to be murderers. They would kill just as well with a knife or rock.

Do you know how many people are saved a year because those dastardly villains don't know how to properly load a gun?

Guns are only dangerous if in the wrong hands.

But they're more dangerous in the right hands. At least, for the intended target.

I could have worded it better or simply said "sarcasm" underneath it. Oh well. I don't care about the thumbs.

I strongly disagree, understanding the use and handling of a dangeous tool hardly makes you a killer.

I suppose I should have made that a little clearer. The first line was meant to be sarcastic. I guess I shouldn't post comments after working 9 hour shifts on 3 hours of sleep.

No one can read your sarcastic tone on the internet. Just try to be more literal next time to avoid confusion.

If everyone had a gun and knew how to use it there would be so much less gun crime, thin about it, some asshole tries to hold up a bank with loads of people in it, all armed, they'd just blow the bankrobber away or make him leave
