I hate CTF because Ragnarok is the only god damn map anybody votes for. Legit I played 11 matches straight on Ragnarok -_-

i actually prefer playing on ragnarok because the mantis is my favourite vehicle(in my opinion they balanced it perfectly), but its only on ragnarok and meltdown.
and nobody EVER votes for melt down

3 minutes in a mantis isnt that bad, it only takes 2 minutes for it to respawn...

are you its two minutes? i swear i was waiting 5.
i think it spawns in 30 seconds or something on meltdown.

and 3 is horrendous considering he didnt get 1 kill

i actually love the low respawn time. it makes it a lot more hectic.

unless your team/enemy team sucks, its usually 1 mantis a team.

the maps are getting old fast, the only maps i like are haven, solace, exile, and ragnarok

maybe a bad company 2 map, if the map was the size of a BF3 map people would get pissed off even more if someone took all the vehicles. which tends to happen often

They renamed Valhalla. It is now Ragnarok. The Irony of that is funny in my opinion.

I don't even bother with vehicles at the start.. they are just big targets everyone wants to kill first. Especially the mantis and banshee. I just rush the sniper rifle and snipe that guy (or guys) that rushes to the top of the hill for the rocket launcher thing.

if youre a good eough player with the mantis its better to grab it as soon as you can to pick off the bashees, ghosts and the like at the start if they rush.
a good strategy is to never go past the halfway point. at the start of the game, if youre on red, stay in the river just outside your base, behind the rocks. that way you can see whats going on, and have enough cover to avoid damage. (if youre on blue, either the passageway to the right or the left makes ample cover. but not as much)
try focusing on giving your team cover with your missiles, charge them up for a spear-like attack to take down vehicles or spray a large area. and never forget to overload your hydraulics if a person or vehicle comes too close. missiles wont do the trick.
the most important thing is to always stay near cover, never ever ever stand out in the open. it doesnt move fast enough to get to cover from medium to long distances.
and be careful when firing missiles behind cover, on several occasions ive accidentally hit the rocks in front of me.

Make sure a teammate grabs the sparten lazer in the middle of the map, otherwise you are screwed.

every time i play ragnarok, i always get rushed by every vehicle, and then soon after, usually betrayed by a teammate.
mfw i constantly get betrayed

343 really fucked up the map design. the downed pelican sticks out of the ground too much and gives too much cover to blue. and dont even get me started on exile.

personally, i think most of the maps are pretty good, they could have done a better job with ragnarok, but for trying to remaster a map like valhala, it's ok. Exile though? i hate that map with a burning passion. Once you have the gauss, you basically win the game.

what makes me even more mad is they hand deliver the gauss to blue team on a silver platter

most things in the game are balanced pretty well, but flood is the most unbalanced piece of crap.
Also, the gauss, if they give one to blue, they should at least give something as good to red.

the scorpion would have been a good trade off if they made it closer, but for fucks sake. giving the gauss to blue was the worst...

yeah, i guess, but the gauss spawns much faster then the scorpion, which makes it even more unbalanced+ how small it is and to get boarded on while your in the tank.

exile is too much of a close quarters map for big team anyway.
