I went to the Black ops 2 midnight release wearing a halo 4 shirt, halo pajama bottoms, carrying a halo xbox controller and a Master Chief mask.

At the Halo Reach launch I got stuck on line behind a fat 11 year old with a Justin Beiber haircut. He had both his divorced parents waiting in line with him trying to one up each-other. He ended getting the $150 legendary edition from his mom and the limited edition from his dad. After seeing that the mom had bought him the legendary edition the dad also bought the legendary edition on top of the limited. This kid walked out with 3 copies of Halo for a combined $380 and held up the entire line while this played out. I know at least someone in that crowd must have walked out with aspirations of becoming a serial killer.

God, I remember Skyrim release night. I showed up like 4 days earlier and got the first in line position ticket. I showed up at 9 and no one was there so I left and came back at 11:30. Fucking line of 150+ people, some dressed up some not, and they were like: Ha n00b shoulda got here earlier. Their faces when I flashed my ticket and walked past all of them. Also, they only let in one person at a time so it wouldn't be a mad dash for the game and once I had it I flashed the game for like 20 sec. out the window. Douchebags were pissed but the employees were cracking up.
