Or as the Norwegian Rally driver Bjørn Dæhlie said ''It's not the fart that kills you its the smell''.

(''Fart'' is a Norwegian word for speed, and ''smell'' is a word for a loud noise, for en example a crash).

I thumbed you up as much as I could, seeing as how I don't get butthurt over random Norwegian athletes. Honestly I doubt most of the people who thumbed you down knew who that was anyway, they just take security in the bandwagons that reaffirm their intelligence for them.

You could go fast enough that the force kills you.

It's probably happened a few times on rollercoasters due to centripetal force.

I doubt it, unless they were highly unfit, and I mean very very very highly, most roller-coasters tend to do about 2-3G, and most people will pass out at around 7Gs.
Anything above 10G is a danger zone for the average human.

thats the acceleration that would kill you. you could be doing the speed of light but so long as you accelerated there gradually and you aren't hitting anything you would be fine.

There's still the frictional force of the air that would/could kill you [convertibles get all the bitches].

P.S. If you went the speed of light, your mass would be infinite which would probably kill you in some way.

i was counting air as being hit by something. also i could well be wrong but from all the equations i know relating mass and velocity i can't think of a single one which suggests your mass would be infinite.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_in_special_relativity

The reason an object can't travel faster than the speed of light is because as it approaches light speed, its mass increases and as its mass increases the force needed to accelerate more increases leading to an infinitely strong force needed to accelerate the object.

i'm starting my physics degree course next year i should probably know **** like this. point is the force wouldn't kill you because no matter what the speed is if it is constant and not being hit by anything there isn't any.

I thought he meant this kind of stationary. Man, That would be unpleasant.
