Actually, there are flat coated border collies which are every bit as pretty as the more popular "standard" variety.
To be fair though, even standard-coated border collies do quite well in warm climates, as long as they have plentiful shade and water when outdoors, like all dogs.
And yes, content dog is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Both of these breeds are awesome dogs, but do your research and consider potential health problems, especially if you go for a corgi.

Fortunately, dwarfism (seen in corgies, dachshunds, basset hounds and so on) is a more naturally occurring mutation than, for example, the smashed face of a boxer or pug, but yeah, they were heavily inbred to get them to look like that, as were most, if not all purebred dogs. I've met quite a few in person, most were generally good natured. c:

Jack russel are fairly good dogs too
they're very athletic
very friendly (not all ankle snappers unless someones trying to hurt you or break into your home)
good with kids and all in all pretty intelligent
pic related my JR Barnie he was the first dog i had but he unfortunatley passed away last year from old age :/
