>Republicans
>New York, New Jersey, Oregon

And by the way it was a few thousand people who signed those petitions, not millions. That means that literally less than 1% of the country wants to secede, and it's the retard extremist groups like The Republic of Texas and The Commonwealth of New York, who always have some stupid ******* reason to secede.

Considering I live in Oregon, and NEVER have heard of this secede issue before, I would say they had some redneck town on the south end of Oregon and started asking....

i dont think these states realize just how difficult life would be if they left the United States. if they were to leave think there will be no more government assistants like in a disastrous situation, if a hurricane were to hit Texas they would on their own,no FEMA to help or any one else. all the military bases would have to leave, and the people living in those states would no longer be americans. you would need a passport to visit. and who is going to run the new governments in these new republics? people need to step back, take a deep breath and get over themselves. ok i am done with my rant.

It's individual people within the states, not the states themselves, and very small percentages of the populations at that

I'm calling ******** on New York and New Jersey. New York because it doesn't matter what the rest of the state feels, where NYC goes, so goes the rest of the state. New Jersey because if both PA, and NY stay in the union, then there are two huge reasons for them to stay (besides, with Christie playing non-partisan good guy, the rest of the state will start to acting the same way).

no surprise old confederate states want to, but Colorado? Really? I've lived here 6 years and I certainly don't want to secede.
