OCD isn't "obsessing over something". It's a diagnosed condition that can ruin peoples lives. Not liking a phone being on low battery is not OCD, having to wash your hands every 30 minutes is.

Gnosticism isn't mutually exclusive from theism. You can't just say "I'm agnostic". Gnosticism regards KNOWLEDGE, not belief. Atheism is simply this - if you do not ACTIVELY believe in a god, then you are an atheist. I've heard some convincing arguments from both sides.
One from the Christian side included saying that God's "days" are not the same as ours, and therefore the "seven days" it took God to create Earth, could really be equivalent to the millions (billions?) of years that the Earth as existed.
Do I necessarily believe it? No. But I accept the possibility of it being valid, same as the Big Bang theory.

There's a verse that says much the same thing in 1 Corinthians: "34 Women[f] should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says."

Now, in order to provide some context, Paul was speaking to a church about their problems with some members. He also covers speaking in tongues and other gifts of the spirit that are still in contention in the church today. In this particular verse, he's trying to curb the habit of false prophets or people teaching false doctrine in the church. He's covering not speaking in the church but the discernment of prophesy or argument. It's looking at problems that were present in the church. You have to look at the rest of the book to have a proper foundation for it.

You're right, it does end at verse 15. Why is that relevant to what verse 12 contains?
