These sort of people really piss me off...
I remember once I said "black people" because we were actually discussing racism in Guidance class.
Then my friend has a shocked look on her face, looks around and whispers, "You can't say that! You're not meant to say black! You're meant to say coloured people! It's less offensive!"

"White people" is fine for anyone to say though.
You can't call Black people who have lived in America their whole life "African-American" because they've never been to Africa so... They're black Americans.
Coloured people seems to imply that they have more than one colour to their skin. (Maybe different shades of black, but thats a lack of colour.)

Black, as a pigment, is every color. Black objects absorb every color light, while reflecting back nothing (that is, if it is a perfect black, known as a black body). Therefore, black is every color. White light, however, is every color light. I think you were thinking of light instead of pigment.

I didn't think it was politically correct to say "colored people" since the 1950's.

I think things like "colored people" or "African American (in America)" are even more offensive. They're certainly not orange or blue so colored doesn't work and not all black people are from Africa so that's profiling.

i've always seen it as putting your birth country first, so african-american would mean, born in africa, moved to america.

the most Politically correct term is "American of African descent."

Most people that are pro-choice don't consider fetus's humans, especially when they're just embryos. On the other hand there are people that do need assistance financially when you know, they're already ******* alive?

You guys love to talk about logic, well when logic dictates that a human fetuses is a human being in its earliest development you say it isn't human. So what is it then. If you want to be pro choice that is fine but the fact remains that a fetus is a living thing that has a heart beat after 18 days and has brain activity and feels pain when aborted. It is just a fact than I am sure most everyone here would like to disappear, but it is still a fact.

And spermatozoa is a potential human, but i don't see anyone getting mad at masturbating , i have literally killed trillions of potential humans. That is my logic and my take on abortion , i agree that you shouldn't get an abortion after a determinate amount of months of being pregnant .

Ahem! " The concept of personhood is different from the concept of human life. Human life occurs at conception, but fertilized eggs used for in vitro fertilization are also human lives and those not implanted are routinely thrown away. Is this murder, and if not, then how is abortion murder? "

Abortion is what it is, if you have the ability to kill a human fetus then go for it. The only argument I have is whether the government has the right to deny my right to not cluster **** my life. Abortion is probably wrong but I'll be damned if the government is going to tell me so.

Offense means attack basically doesn't it? So something is only offensive if it's intended to attack someone physically / mentally / emotionally. If I said something with no intention of upsetting or annoying someone that would make it not offensive.

But yes I agree with the picture. People say "that's offensive" because it makes them look better for supposedly being sensitive about everyone else's feelings.
