My family lost the American Civil War. They were dragged from their homes when the Union invaded their town. That was less than 150 years ago. How long since your ancestors were forcibly evicted from their homes. What was done to the Native Americans was terrible, but it has happened to countless civilizations throughout history. Odds are, your country has committed far greater atrocities, you just choose to ignore them and focus on ours because we actually feel bad for what we have done.

I hate to be that ugly American, but realistically that won't happen. You would possibly attack America on our own soil? With the possible exception of China, we have the most powerful military by a significant margin.
