DVD's are nearly obsolete, USB/Flash drives are taking over computer storage, and Blu Ray / Digital download is knocking them from other forms of media, I imagine they will be gone in a number of years.

VHS's aren't obsolete?
Dude.
The thing that replaced them (CD-ROMS) Have already been replayed (DVDs), which have already been replaced (albeit hardly used, mini DVD's and CD's) and replaced by Blu-Ray.

LP records are coing back. 8 tracks are only a subnet worth of that popularity.

DVDs are still the cheapest ways to get games. Like physical copies that you can sell back. I'd like my games to be at least somewhat useful investments.

The other day I bought Harriet the Spy on Laserdisc, also a blank Laserdisc. The blank one I'm gonna have mounted and displayed as a Platinum Album.

When I bought them, my friends told me "You can never complain that you don't have any money every again". They're dumb, laserdsic is coming back.

DVDs are already on their way out...
I know I haven't used one in the past few months at least, what with Netflix streaming and Steam
