the economy is not yet in a state of ruin. it is not affected by any one man. the current and past recession is the cause of years of political policy and business ethics that were irresponsible.

I understand what you mean, but Obama can effect the economy by adding laws, and such.

he can only take action that is approved by the other branches of government. and seeing as they hated him for most of his presidency and theyve been taking a 5 month break it doesnt seem like he or anyone else can do jack **** about the economy or anything else

He can play a large role in it, some things he passes can subliminal effect the economy, welfare, and higher taxes can cause some company to go bankrupt, and other to lay off people, and some people will quit just so they can get welfare.

I don't want to start a huge debate, just would like to point out that the economy is largely affected by current trends, including a president and his policies. The stock market is directly correlated to the economy as a whole. As such, the stock market is a good indicator of how the American and global economies are doing. If no one saw, the stock market dropped a stunning 313 points on Wednesday after the election, and another 121 today. That should be a fair point to show that businesses within America don't trust their money in the system during current economic situation, which apparently plunged after President Obama won re-election. That should show that the President's financial policies aren't beneficial to the current US economy.

The stock market shows how the economy is, and it has been plunging over the past 4 years, and dipped a lot after the election. It has been in recession levels ever since the current president has been in office. So... the economy isn't great and it is affected by the president.

1) If the guy you like is running a ****** Economy, blame the previous guy and say the current guy didn't have enough time to change everything.
2) If after 2 terms the economy still sucks, blame the previous guy again.
3) Don't post anything specific.
a) NO talking about Debt or Regulations.
b) NO talks about who controlled the senate or the house during periods in time.

Remember, only post <This guy> is the problem, and leave it at that. If anyone does try to engage in an intelligent debate, ignore their point and talk about racism or some ****.
