Actually, farmers don't let the calves feed off of the moms milk. They use formula. I worked on a dairy farm and that's how it went down.

It's true that blood sometimes comes out with the milk, but that has nothing to do with the way we milk them, it's just natural. But lmfao it's not true they put chocolate in to cover it up, the filter process makes sure the milk is clean.

That's what we mean (Or I think that's what Anon means.) NORMALLY cows don't hurt when they're not milked - Because they only produce milk when they have a calf. So, the calf would usually drink the milk. It's taking the calf away that means the mother needs to be milked, so technically, the possible pain is still our fault.
