What a load of nonsense. The ancient greeks already figured out the earth was round, not the centre of the universe and elipsed around the sun. All this before the bible, so your very term "science then" is sketchy at best.

It seems what you mean with "science then" is science that dates from the periods following the rise of Christianity. And most science then was strongly corrolated along the rules of what the Bible said or made to fit within the Biblical stories.

A far better depiction would be "Science after the rise of Christianity" and "Science after the Age of Reason".

False. During the rise of Christianity many corrupt officials made sure they could maintain power and kept the biblical teachings from the common people in hopes of keeping them unintelligent as means of controlling them. Also, the Bible mentions time and again of influence within Greece and its neighboring countries. It is believed by some that many of their ideas were shared with and many received by the Christians.

Well let's go one by one:

1) I read it and it seems it's saying the earth is a disc...
2) 1100 Stars. Sauce?
3) Nope, not free float, suspended over nothing. Large animal? Sauce? Terry Pratchet?
4) Science was ignorant? Sauce??? Matter being made by invisble elements is a theory older than the bible...
5) All stars were the same. Sauce?
I stop there... Where exactly do you take your information from? What do you call science, what century? Source please...

First of all did you read the King James edition?
Did you keep in mind that the bible has been translated from Latin, to Greek, to English, and a lot of stuff has been mistranslated?
