I really want to see EA go down the shitter. All they care about is money, not what gamers actually want.
www.funnyjunk.com/youtube/3738696/EA+in+a+nutshell/ this pretty much sums up EA.
EA during PS2 era was pretty cool... Burnout (Revenge = Best), SSX, and the like.

I don't know why but the game sector is like music sector. The less popular ones are better than the popular ones. Best example for both:
Nicki Minaj(Manaj?) - Regina Spektor
Any EA game - Mount&Blade series (except fire and sword)
I couldn't think the name of any bad games, sorry...

Aside from dlc's, there is one other wy that E.A. has pissed me and many other gamers off...
UNDERGROUND 3! WHERE IS UNDERGROUND 3 YOU MOTHERFUCKERS?!?!?!
Christ, it was only one of their highest, if not THE highest, selling racing franchise they made. And they had better graphics than Midnight Club imo.

The only thing that I like from them is the NFS series.
1. Did you play DS2? If not, the demo is free and i suggest you try it out.
The entire game isn't action oriented, the action is mixed in with the horror to keep appeal. People assume that its 50/50 action and horror, in reality, its a horror game with action mixed into it. Which, i felt through my playthroughs, was a good idea. The second game seriously steps up the horror to compensate for the action, and by no means dumbs it down. NPC's are still kept at an arm's length, but to a point where it's believable, unlike the first one where you were basically an errand boy.

The most fucked up thing going on in EA right now?
Two men by the name Vince Zampella and Jason West worked under EA with Danger Close Studios on the Medal of Honour series. They stopped after helping to make "MoH: Allied Assault" because EA put massive restrictions on what they wanted to put in their games. For instance they couldn't have a mission where your character ran around without a gun, or have a cutscene that showed life during WW2.
So they quit, created Infinity Ward, and made the Call of Duty series under Activision into the booming success it is today. Point in case EA could have had a Monopoly on the FPS market.
In 2010 West and Zampella were fired from Activision. The went and formed Respawn Entertainment, and are expected to have a new FPS title out in March 2013. Here's the kicker; Respawn Entertainment is now under EA.
